MCP Connector Terms of Use

Last updated: Oct 12, 2026

1. What these Terms cover

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (“you”) and Bryckel Inc. (“Bryckel”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Bryckel MCP Connector (the “Connector”): a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or any other MCP-compatible client) access to Bryckel’s commercial real estate tools and agents.

These Terms sit alongside two other documents:

  • Your company’s Services Agreement. Access to the Connector is licensed to your employer or organization (the “Customer”) under a signed services agreement with Bryckel (the “Services Agreement”). The Services Agreement governs fees, license scope, confidentiality, data processing, service levels and liability between Bryckel and the Customer. These Terms govern your individual use. If they conflict, the Services Agreement controls.

  • The bryckel.ai Terms of Use. Those terms govern our website only and do not apply to the Connector.

By connecting the Connector to an AI assistant, signing in with your Bryckel account, or invoking any Connector tool, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Connector.

2. Who may use the Connector

You may use the Connector only if you are at least 18 years old and are an authorized user under a current Customer license. You are responsible for keeping your Bryckel sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account or let another person connect through it. The Connector is a business tool offered only to businesses located in the United States and Canada; it is not offered to consumers or to organizations in other jurisdictions.

3. How the Connector works with AI assistants

The Connector does not itself generate abstracts, reports or other final customer deliverables. It provides tools (document OCR and searchable-PDF creation, mapping, and web research) and agent workflow specifications that your AI assistant executes. You should understand that:

  • Your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client) is a third-party service governed by its provider’s own terms and privacy policy. Bryckel does not control it and is not responsible for it.

  • Bryckel receives only the specific inputs a tool needs: a copy of a document your assistant explicitly uploads for OCR, property addresses or coordinates you supply for mapping (never your own or your device’s location), web search queries, public website URLs, and agent names or option values. Bryckel does not receive your conversation, prompts, or other attachments, except to the extent your assistant includes conversation text in a tool input such as a search query.

  • Documents your assistant uploads, and the searchable PDFs Bryckel returns, are held in encrypted cloud storage subject to an automatic lifecycle deletion policy configured with a one-day age threshold; the storage provider applies the policy on its own schedule, so actual deletion may occur after the one-day threshold. Bryckel has no general access to your computer, file system or cloud storage beyond documents made available to it through supplied URLs or uploads, and does not receive or store the abstracts, reports or other outputs your assistant produces.

  • The assistant decides when and how to call Connector tools based on your instructions. You are responsible for the instructions you give and for reviewing what the assistant does with tool results.

Bryckel does not guarantee that the Connector will remain compatible with any particular AI assistant or client.

4. Acceptable use

You shall not, and shall not permit anyone else to:

  • access or use the Connector other than through a supported MCP client with your own credentials, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Connector or related systems;

  • copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Connector or Bryckel’s proprietary materials — its agents, workflow specifications, skill files, reference files, prompts and tool definitions (“Bryckel Materials”) — or use them to build a competing product. Your AI assistant may receive, hold and execute Bryckel Materials in its own working environment as necessary to carry out the task you requested, but you shall not extract Bryckel Materials from that environment, reproduce them in deliverables, or otherwise deliver them to the Customer or any third party. This does not restrict ordinary tool results or the reports and other deliverables your assistant produces for the Customer, excluding any embedded Bryckel Materials;

  • circumvent license limits, rate limits or access controls, or use automated means to invoke tools at a volume beyond ordinary business use;

  • submit documents or data you do not have the right to process, or use the research tools in a manner that violates a website’s terms of use, robots directives or applicable law;

  • submit cardholder data, protected health information, government identification numbers, passwords or other authentication secrets through any Connector tool;

  • transmit malicious code, or content designed to manipulate the behavior of the Connector, Bryckel’s systems or an AI assistant (including prompt-injection content);

  • use the Connector for any unlawful purpose, including in violation of fair housing, anti-discrimination, privacy or data-protection laws; or

  • misrepresent Connector outputs as having been reviewed or verified by Bryckel.

5. Your content and outputs

You and the Customer retain all rights in the documents, addresses, URLs and other inputs you provide (“Your Content”) and in the abstracts, reports and other deliverables your assistant produces using the Connector (“Outputs”). Outputs exclude Bryckel Materials, which remain Bryckel’s property even where reproduced in whole or in part in an Output, and remain subject to any third-party rights in source documents or data. You grant Bryckel a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to provide the Connector to you. Bryckel does not use Your Content or Outputs to train or improve machine-learning models. If you send us suggestions about the Connector, we may use them without obligation to you.

6. Outputs are not professional advice

The Connector supports commercial real estate professionals; it does not replace them. Outputs are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions or misreadings of source documents. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, brokerage, appraisal, tax, financial or investment advice. You are responsible for verifying outputs against the underlying documents and for all decisions made in reliance on them. Where a matter requires professional judgement, consult a qualified professional.

7. Third-party services

The Connector relies on third-party services, including cloud hosting and storage, document analysis, mapping, web retrieval and payment processing services, and returns data drawn from public web sources. Bryckel does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, availability or terms of those services or sources. Mapping, points-of-interest and web-research results are provided as retrieved and may be incomplete or out of date.

8. Bryckel’s intellectual property

The Connector, its agents, workflow specifications, prompts, tool definitions, documentation, and the Bryckel name and logo are owned by or licensed to Bryckel Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and the Services Agreement, Bryckel grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Connector for the Customer’s internal business purposes. All other rights are reserved.

9. Availability and changes to the Connector

We may add, change or retire tools and agents, and may set or adjust rate limits, from time to time. Where a change materially reduces functionality the Customer has licensed, we will give the notice required by the Services Agreement. The Connector may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Connector, with notice where practicable, if: (i) you breach these Terms; (ii) your use presents a security risk to the Connector or other users; (iii) the Customer’s license expires, is terminated, or is suspended under the Services Agreement; or (iv) we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Connector at any time by disconnecting it from your AI assistant. Sections 5 through 8 and 11 through 15 survive termination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated in the Services Agreement, the Connector is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Bryckel does not warrant that the Connector will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that Outputs will be accurate or complete.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bryckel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to the Connector or Outputs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where a Services Agreement applies, Bryckel’s aggregate liability to you and the Customer is limited as set out in that agreement. Otherwise, Bryckel’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed US$100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bryckel Inc., its officers, directors, employees and affiliates from and against any losses, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Connector in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your submission of content you did not have the right to provide.

14. Privacy

Information Bryckel handles through the Connector is described in the Bryckel MCP Connector Privacy Policy at https://www.bryckel.ai/legal-policies/mcp-connector-privacy-policy. That notice, not the bryckel.ai website Privacy Policy, describes the Connector.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and shall be settled exclusively by the courts located in Delaware. Where a Services Agreement contains a different governing-law or dispute-resolution clause, that clause controls.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email to your account address before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
